revlon super lustrous lipstick - vava voilet ♥

surprise surprise, another lipstick is it really that much of a shock? this is a bit of a random lipstick to be reviewing this time of year but we are going to roll with it aren't we? revlon are my true love when it comes to lipsticks, there affordable, easy to get and have different finishes and a fast arrange of shades. and lets face it the packaging is to die for right? black and gold for the win!

the formula for this is a creme which means it has no shimmer or anything in which is fab for me, matte and cream finishes are for me and have been for ages now. Because of the shade and how deep it is this does stain (no kidding it took me 3days with lots of soap and scrubbing to get this of my hand fully) so the staying power is awesome when its gone it just looks like ive drank alot of grapejuice. I personally really like revlon as a brand on the whole but there lipsticks are something i couldnt quit the rest i could but the lipsticks! its just love.

Today im going to be reviewing this very pretty lipstick from revlon - while im in my sick bed - the packaging is beautiful, and honestly it would have fitted right in on my nannas dressing table it just gives of that vintage look, revlon keeping it old school! Revlon has been under alot of heat lately due to a racist comment made by the CEO and as much as i dont agree with what he said there are other people behind the brand that make this product worth having no make up company is a one man show so im continuing to buy revlon for the thousands of other people behind the name, and if it was just him i might change my mind but at the moment im still in love with them. 

The finish and texture of this lipstick is creme which for me is perfect, i love my mattes and cream lipsticks as you all shell know by now no glitter just a pretty sheen. the colour is coming of alot more pink than it is, it is actually a more nudey pink which goes perfectly with my pale self, this lipstick can last along time on me which is fabulous ive been known to wear it to work and leave it for hours before touching up.

The background i prefer is back, plain and white, i love it! the reason i actually stopped using it is because the thing i was using got so much make up all other it that i retired it! and now i picked up a fresh clean card! but what do you prefer the plan or the lips?

now back to the review - a lipstick - of course - once upon atime i was asked what my favourite brand of lipsticks are and i said mua straight away but one lipstick from Revlon and there was no turning back, the formula is creamy, rich, moisturising, comfortable to wear  and everything the price tag promises. The packaging is classy and honestly i like it, it looks kind of vintage and would have looked perfectly at home on my Nana's dressing table. 

The finish of this particular lipstick is pearl, which adds a gentle sheen to the lips without the ott shimmer which can either make or break a lipstick (in my experience it breaks alot of them). The colour is a beautiful mid tone pink and is one i reached for alot on summer!
