nyc expert last lip color - creamy caramel ♥

you all know me and my lipsticks more than i have space for! this one i got from fragrancedirect for 99p not bad right? the packaging is nice. but the lid annoys me since i need to clean it. 

a darker nude that what i normally go for, and its not a taupe nude since that's what i go for more than browny nudes but this is lovely, it doesnt last long on the lips but its none drying and gives a glossy finish rather than a dull look. these are normally £1.99 i believe from superdrug but since i dont go by a superdrug all that often.

NYC City Mono Eyeshadow - Basic Instinct ♥

So i believes ive reviewed some of these before but this was one of my favourites at one point. This is the old packaging but i did get it for 50p from fragrancedirect.co.uk so i cant complain about it being the old packaging and plus i like this version better than the new packaging.

as you can see its not pigmented enough to go all over the lid but i use it as the highlight of the tear ducked. its a light gold colour with shimmer. it can last a long time if its not touched, on the left is the eyeshadow with a primer and on the right is it without. as you can see theres not much difference but it looks so pretty in the inner corner ive also used it under my bottom lash line as a little suma suma! for 50p i cant moan really

Today i am reviewing a single eyeshadow which doesnt happen all that often, but lately ive gotten into my eyeshadows and decided to share the fabulous and the not so fabulous! Ive got a few from this range as i got the cheap of fragrancedirect for 50p each. This is one of the better ones and i will be sharing with you the ones id give a miss if i was you. 

nyc ultra last lipstick - hot spot pink ♥

Hello my dolls,

Ive said it before and ill say it again, the packaging on this sucks! i love the black and the writing but the lid is a kicker for me (still) but hey i brought them knowing what i was getting really didn't i? and at least i can see the shade easily but id still prefer the lid to not be clear!

the shade "hot spot pink" is a muted pink, not a lot of shimmer really and i like that its more of a cream effect which is hard to come by in the drugstore really, this is a shade id wear for every day since as it fades it isn't noticeable from a mile away. I do love a good bright lip but for them days I'm running here there and ever id use a shade like this! 

i honestly love the shade and the finish. it doesn't try my lips out either! *bonus*

nyc in a new york minute nail polish - battery park purple ♥

Hello my honeys,

its not often i paint my nails anymore, i prefer to go and get them done at a salon where i can relax and be pampared just a little bit but every now and then id take a break from that and go solo and paint them. 

the price mark its around £1-2 a bottle and honestly id pay triple for this! but lets face it we all love a bargain, specially if you dont use nail polish much. 

this can be seen on my ring finger (look at my nails! terrible, someone call a professional STAT!) This shade is a beautiful deep purple, perfect for this time of year, the formula is so opaque that 2coats and im done. 60seconds and there touch dry but like all polishes do not go digging your nails in it, no way would it be completely and utterly dry after 60seconds. The one niggle i have with this is its easy to mess up quickly if your not concentrating perfectly on it, as you can see it can get messy. 

over all i do like and i will recommend :) 

nyc ultra last lipstick - blue rose ♥

Today is a pretty lipstick from NYC, i don't have alot from this brand on a whole - few bronzers, few lipsticks, a mascara, few shadows and that's that - but this is a lipsticks that is incredibly comfortable to wear and lasts a decent amount of time on my ol' lips.The packing isn't the best but i prefer the black to the ones they have replaced it with but we all know me ill still buy a shade or 2 from that line. the lid is the main kicker which i cant get on board with it screams cheap to me and i know these are only £1.99 in superdrug but mua has proper lids and there a pound! no excuse. 

This shade to me screams valentines day, it is something id wear that day anyway. its a fuchsia pink with a blue shimmer running throw it making your teeth look whiter, but again i go back to it being a shade i reserve for valentines day or date night when i want my teeth to look a whiter than what they are and Haven't got time to use a whitening treatment. 

really impressed with the formula, the shade but the packaging isn't the best and could do with a little bit of a revamp and a coloured lid. the amount of times i have run a makeup wipe inside to get the lipstick of is silly!
