L/R - style transformation, perfect fit, touch up, style guide, how do i look?

the packaging of these lipsticks are beautiful, i love lipsticks that come in the boxes but im also not the type of girl who keeps them in the box either, they have a vanilla scent and for something that is called maxi moisture the pigmentation isnt all that bad. they have been none to end up on my chin by the end of the day but honestly most lipsticks that are moisturizing slip down on me, the colour pay of is the right amount for a day time look, yes granted style transformation may be more of a autumn/winter lipstick but its not that bad considering i got these for 50p each from fragrancedirect..

w7 skin fresh concealer ♥

well, today i am back with another w7 product, i didnt realise how much i liked the brand until i tried this and was really disappointed. the packaging is perfect for what it is. its a squeeze tube so you apply on to the back of your hand then apply from there where you need it. it shoots out far to much product for example i only squeezed the tiniest bit and all that shot out at me. 

the colour is near perfect for me, a tad orange but i can deal and use it under my foundation but it doesnt seem to plend fully, even on my hand you can see that is not blended and short of rubbing it that much and looking my eyes in the process its a bust, ive tried many many times and i always seem to have to use something else instead which makes my face look like ive been on a 6week bender and have had to cover up with concealer.

fashionista custom blush collection ♥

Today im going to be showing you some of my newest editions to my makeup bag/drawers. the thing with me is i have a ton of blush and lipsticks they are the only thing id switch up a silly amount of times a week! honestly im known for switching blush and lipstick daily.. 

these i got for 50p from fragrancedirect (haul post here) i was planning on getting them from mua when they had them as a extra on there website but time got away from me and before i had the chance they was gone. 

the packaging is amazing so slim and compact, no extra packaging just the simple sqaure. i love the fact i can get the cases and add them to that if i wish which in the long run ill properly end up doing but for now there all looking at home in there own section in the blush drawer. i didnt just get these 3 shades. i got them all! 

for anyone that doesnt know the pan pops out and can be slotted into a case that is made for them from fashionista available on ebay.

while i have a ton of blush i always go for more blushes like this. there baked so have a beautiful sheen which i have tried hard to capture on picture. i dont like a ton of colour on my cheeks since im known to be heavy handed with these sorts of things. specially if im getting ready at half 5 in the morning which i do often.. not in the last few months but its been known to occur more than once.
My personal favouite is new york - not just because of the name - since it gives a lovely rosey peach glow without looking over done! perfect for them days where im being pushed out the door before i've got my knickers on.

nyc expert last lip color - creamy caramel ♥

you all know me and my lipsticks more than i have space for! this one i got from fragrancedirect for 99p not bad right? the packaging is nice. but the lid annoys me since i need to clean it. 

a darker nude that what i normally go for, and its not a taupe nude since that's what i go for more than browny nudes but this is lovely, it doesnt last long on the lips but its none drying and gives a glossy finish rather than a dull look. these are normally £1.99 i believe from superdrug but since i dont go by a superdrug all that often.

famous double your chance mascara ♥

im a bit late posting this in the day because i thought id already done it. my brain is all over the place lately, this is the type of mascara that i wouldnt normally review, mainly because for me its just a bog-standard mascara that doesnt do nothing for me. its black, it adds a little bit of volume but it runs like a mofo. the ball on the end is good for my bottom lashes but since it runs i shy away from it. pretty packaging but thats the best thing about it. 

look beauty primers ♥

while i was looking on eBay for some face primers that brighten i found the look beauty perk me up primer that i couldn't resist but buying, but when i did the company sent me out the colour correct one instead so i contacted them expecting them to say "oh well return that one and we will send out the right one" instead they said they will send out the right one and i can keep the other as a gift as it was there mistake, lovely right?.. 

the bottles are pretty much identical apart from one is pink inside and the other is green, the packaging is pretty and i have taken a liking to the pump style primers because of this. 

lets start with the one i dislike - colour correct, now don't get me wrong i have alot of redness but this is too much green for one person. even after i put on my foundation i can still see a slight green tinge (not a cute look) i cant say that it makes my foundation last longer or that it makes it easier to apply because in all honesty i haven't saw enough of a difference to judge on them.

now onto the star of the show.. perk me up does exactly as it says on the tin, it makes my skin look healthier, glowier, and over all better. I'm a combo girl as I've said and i prefer more a lasting dewy look so things like this work wonders for me. I've used this is so many different ways that I'm surprised theres as much left as there is. I've mixed it in with my foundation, applied it all over my face as well as used it as a liquid highlighter. it just gives me that naturally radiant look every girl dreams off!

wilko kiss prime of your life ♥

Today im here to show you another primer that i got from wilko but a brand called kiss x, it states on the packaging smoothing, light reflecting primer honestly i dont see it as light reflecting, its a silicone based primer while i sometimes like and sometimes hate. when they say smoothing i have to agree it does make my foundation go on smoother and when i haven't done a face mask in a few weeks my skin is never at its best and i need that smoothing quality when that happens. it doesn't help my makeup last any longer but it is mattifying but i do get greasy with a long day in the heat.

i believe this is £2-3 maybe £4? i did buy 2 of these when i finally found them in stock but honestly i cant say ill repurchase since ive got primers that i like better and that does alot more than this but i do enjoy how when i need that smoothness its there.

miss sporty fabulous eyes - peanut butter ♥

we all know most days i dont pay attention to my eye make up bar a few coats of mascara and a bit of eyeliner on my water line, but since im off work for the foreseeable future ive decided to bite the bullet and do it once or twice a week. 

I picked this up on a whim i loved the name peanut butter.. it happens alot with me im trying not to get things for the name but lets face it i cant help it, fun fact most people have peanut butter on toast but i can only eat it on a sandwich with chocolate spread.. anywhoo the lid is a pill of dudu! if you look closely its already cracked because if u push to hard it breaks and drys up, if u dont push it on enough it drys up its a cant win situation and seems to happen with most eyeshadow pencils

the colour is this beautiful copper bronze brown colour depending on which light its under, there not overly creamy to begin with but honestly its easier to blend that stuff twice the price! this was around £2.50 and there are other shades im willing to pick up, i have used this alone and under shadow and either way it wears well with no creasing! score right?.. in boots miss sporty often have sales or promos/offers on so get them while its going good for savings.. 

loreal infallible 24hr matte foundation - vanilla ♥

Today is a foundation post, who knew that ive been buying this many foundations?

The packaging is pretty good compared to most squeeze tubes, and the bit it comes out of is that thin you can determine how much you will need, on the back it says what the product is - matte, high coverage, ect. In my opinion alot of companies need to take notes and learn from this because its so easy these days to go in looking for a dew and come out with a matte if you haven't done your research first.

This is something special though - a non cakey, long lasting, matte but not flat foundation theres not many foundations i can say that about, if its matte its flat, if its long lasting its high coverage and drying, if its cakey is high coverage and hard to blend but this is easy to blend, last atleast a good 13 hours, its matte enough to last but not matte that you look half dead.  

i cant see it working on really dry skin but i know a few people with dry skin that has tried and loved it, i honestly think its more to do with the prep you do before it.. i prefer a dewy look personally so i use a radiant primer a matte foundation and then highlight but i cant complain since id say this was a satin matte rather than fully matte -  have you tried this foundation? what did you think? 

revlon colorstay moisture stain - india ♥

Today im reviewing a revlon moisture stain which is another thing that had mixed reviews and i have to say i have a love and hate relationship with this product mainly the later if im being a 100% honest which ofcourse i always am with my reviews.

I like the packaging the shapes lovely, i like how it shows the product, i like the twist on it you know how some items have that twist which you can never ever get to match up again? well i find this matches every single time! the applicator is nice but nothing to scream about. 

The product is one that needs to be warmed up before to get the perfect application or it gets bitty, its a odd texture and that is what i don't enjoy it smudges like a bitch but with it being a "moisture" stain that's expected since it doesn't set, i wouldn't say its a stain at all once its gone its gone theres no stain on my lips or nothing, to me it's a glorified liquid lipstick and theres so many out there bringing liquid lipsticks out that Revlon thought oh put stain on it, but it does stain my skin just not my lips so if it bleeds I'm in big trouble.. NOT CUTE!

w7 extra, extra big bold lashes mascara ♥

Today im reviewing a mascara that i brought along with another one from the same brand, i honestly thought id love this one more but it turned out i was wrong, the brush is huge even though it doesnt look like it in the picture so i get it everywhere which isnt a good look when im in a rush, the mascara it self is nice when taking the time to apply it but it runs like a mofo, it rubs at a gentle nudge it give a bit of volume and lengthens a bit too but i cant say that out runs the cons of it all. id never repurchase this mainly because i dont like it but also because i have alot more on my list to try. 

MUA lipstick - tulips ♥

this has become my favourite lipstick, its a lovely dusky pink and its wearable and im able to pull it of nicely without having to apply every few minutes. the wear time isnt fabulous on this shade but it does wear well. the swatch below shows a glossy finish but its more of a satin, creamy and easy to apply is always a winner.

MUA lipstick - persian rose ♥

Today I'm back with a review from mua, its been a minute since i last reviewed a lipstick from them and i think I'm about 3 of having the whole collection which i will be picking up. 

lets talk packaging, its the standard mua black and silver plastic packaging which i enjoy, i like them being all lined up in my acrylic lipstick holder.

mua has never let me down when it comes to pigmentation bar shade 4, that is a whole different board game, this is alot more creamy than most since mua used to add lashings of glitter to a lovely shade which normally put me off the colour completely, this shade is on the neon side of fuchsia pink but is wearable and i have worn it to work, when i was in college and if i was just popping out for a meal it lasts ok while drinking and eating but i often take my lipstick off when i eat since i don't want to be eating lipstick. 

maybelline superstay 24hour foundation - ivory ♥

I'm becoming a foundation fanatic, I've brought and tried quite a few recently that i believe there's been one nearly every month? 

i brought this one as part of my 3 for 2 from boots one time when i was on a maybelline foundation kick (if there's 2 foundations from the same brand i will pick up a 3rd from the same brand anyone else do that? i also get most my foundations in the 3 for 2 because I'm a bargain hunter!) this is a foundation I've tried and tried and tried but just cant love, i like it but i don't love it, all my beauty girls will understand when its just a "mehhh" product. Its got a pump which i like & its a glass bottle which again i love, you cant take the pump of though which i find wastes alot of product which gets stuck to the sides and bottom of the bottle which i would normally just tap out onto the back of my hand. 

it looks so so orange on my hand which is very strange since it was a perfect match when blended out properly, on my face it looks fine when its all done and dusted since I'm pretty good at picking out my shade now just by looking at the bottle since I'm always pale, i don't fake tan and i don't tan normally since my skin just doesn't do it for me which i deal with. it doesn't last 24 hours on me but that might mean I'm in the environment since I'm always in a hot environment and rushing here and there doing this and that basically always using heat either on me, on clients and well everyone but i only have to touch up once on a full day in the salon so not that bad, its more drying than i would like so i do use this with a beauty blender to add more of that hydration and my primer is a glowy one when i use this.

Like i said i just don't love it, i can and will use it because its not all that bad but its not something i reach for i actually force myself to use it. 

revlon super lustrous lipstick - vava voilet ♥

surprise surprise, another lipstick is it really that much of a shock? this is a bit of a random lipstick to be reviewing this time of year but we are going to roll with it aren't we? revlon are my true love when it comes to lipsticks, there affordable, easy to get and have different finishes and a fast arrange of shades. and lets face it the packaging is to die for right? black and gold for the win!

the formula for this is a creme which means it has no shimmer or anything in which is fab for me, matte and cream finishes are for me and have been for ages now. Because of the shade and how deep it is this does stain (no kidding it took me 3days with lots of soap and scrubbing to get this of my hand fully) so the staying power is awesome when its gone it just looks like ive drank alot of grapejuice. I personally really like revlon as a brand on the whole but there lipsticks are something i couldnt quit the rest i could but the lipsticks! its just love. 

Revlon colorstay foundation - 180 sand beige ♥

this is one of the foundations that i like then i dont like and then i love. revlon colorstay is a cult favourite in the blogging/youtube/beauty world, and for a while i was put off because of all the hype. its a glass bottle which i love, no pump but i can deal with that the lid breaks if you screw it on to tight so all round not fabulous packaging but it can be sorted with easy hands or buying a pump from mac or using one from a old foundation. 

there are 2 kinds of formula to this foundation a combo to oily & normal to dry, i got the combo to oily since im combo really there should have been a combo to normal and combo to dry aswell but hey we cant have everything. This is quite liquidy and not as thick as i assumed it would be it is medium coverage and can be built up to high if needed personally i dont do that i dont need to but if you do then that is a option, it does last along time without primers and setting powders/sprays with is fab i havent tried the claims of 24hours but ive wore it for 9/10 hours and it wore beautifully, the shade 180 sand beige is a perfect match for me where buff was a little to pale,  it does look flawless with a brush, sponge and fingers & over all im happy with it but as a i said i do go through phases and sometimes i can put it on and think i dont look right it all depends on how my skin is that day. as i said ive got more combo to normal skin so i like a little more dew than this gives and sometimes this is just perfect. 

W7 Prime Magic Anti-Redness Primer ♥

In the tube this looks revolting but blended in theres no green tinge or nothing it just contracts the red nicely, i really dont have that much redness but in the summer i get alot more around my nose and cheeks but its one of them things that i always think of theres better out there, but i feel like that about primers in general, this is my fav anti red primer so far but im always on the look out for new primers to find "the one" so if you have any recommendation please leave them below! 

makeup revolution blusher - treat ♥

i havent ordered or brought much from makeup revolution, i keep saying im going to place a order and never do but i have a list that is ever ever growing from them! so after my holiday im hoping to place a big big order with them. ive said it before and ill say it again i love the rose gold writing on the packaging, i like that its a round pan rather than rectangle the packaging can break but it clips back in perfectly so no biggy and if it does break i can just replace it for £1 price tag.

im drawn to coral shades when it comes to blush, its very rare for me to love a hot pink like most people do im to pale to pull that off. this is a coral/peachy shade with fiine gold glitter going through it to make it look not so flat. these blushes can be quite powdery which is expected for a £1 nothings perfect but they blend like a dream and the last power is fabulous for such a low priced product i can wear this all day with out touch ups. I do plan on getting the other shades too.
