loreal infallible 24hr matte foundation - vanilla ♥

Today is a foundation post, who knew that ive been buying this many foundations?

The packaging is pretty good compared to most squeeze tubes, and the bit it comes out of is that thin you can determine how much you will need, on the back it says what the product is - matte, high coverage, ect. In my opinion alot of companies need to take notes and learn from this because its so easy these days to go in looking for a dew and come out with a matte if you haven't done your research first.

This is something special though - a non cakey, long lasting, matte but not flat foundation theres not many foundations i can say that about, if its matte its flat, if its long lasting its high coverage and drying, if its cakey is high coverage and hard to blend but this is easy to blend, last atleast a good 13 hours, its matte enough to last but not matte that you look half dead.  

i cant see it working on really dry skin but i know a few people with dry skin that has tried and loved it, i honestly think its more to do with the prep you do before it.. i prefer a dewy look personally so i use a radiant primer a matte foundation and then highlight but i cant complain since id say this was a satin matte rather than fully matte -  have you tried this foundation? what did you think? 

maybelline superstay 24hour foundation - ivory ♥

I'm becoming a foundation fanatic, I've brought and tried quite a few recently that i believe there's been one nearly every month? 

i brought this one as part of my 3 for 2 from boots one time when i was on a maybelline foundation kick (if there's 2 foundations from the same brand i will pick up a 3rd from the same brand anyone else do that? i also get most my foundations in the 3 for 2 because I'm a bargain hunter!) this is a foundation I've tried and tried and tried but just cant love, i like it but i don't love it, all my beauty girls will understand when its just a "mehhh" product. Its got a pump which i like & its a glass bottle which again i love, you cant take the pump of though which i find wastes alot of product which gets stuck to the sides and bottom of the bottle which i would normally just tap out onto the back of my hand. 

it looks so so orange on my hand which is very strange since it was a perfect match when blended out properly, on my face it looks fine when its all done and dusted since I'm pretty good at picking out my shade now just by looking at the bottle since I'm always pale, i don't fake tan and i don't tan normally since my skin just doesn't do it for me which i deal with. it doesn't last 24 hours on me but that might mean I'm in the environment since I'm always in a hot environment and rushing here and there doing this and that basically always using heat either on me, on clients and well everyone but i only have to touch up once on a full day in the salon so not that bad, its more drying than i would like so i do use this with a beauty blender to add more of that hydration and my primer is a glowy one when i use this.

Like i said i just don't love it, i can and will use it because its not all that bad but its not something i reach for i actually force myself to use it. 

Revlon colorstay foundation - 180 sand beige ♥

this is one of the foundations that i like then i dont like and then i love. revlon colorstay is a cult favourite in the blogging/youtube/beauty world, and for a while i was put off because of all the hype. its a glass bottle which i love, no pump but i can deal with that the lid breaks if you screw it on to tight so all round not fabulous packaging but it can be sorted with easy hands or buying a pump from mac or using one from a old foundation. 

there are 2 kinds of formula to this foundation a combo to oily & normal to dry, i got the combo to oily since im combo really there should have been a combo to normal and combo to dry aswell but hey we cant have everything. This is quite liquidy and not as thick as i assumed it would be it is medium coverage and can be built up to high if needed personally i dont do that i dont need to but if you do then that is a option, it does last along time without primers and setting powders/sprays with is fab i havent tried the claims of 24hours but ive wore it for 9/10 hours and it wore beautifully, the shade 180 sand beige is a perfect match for me where buff was a little to pale,  it does look flawless with a brush, sponge and fingers & over all im happy with it but as a i said i do go through phases and sometimes i can put it on and think i dont look right it all depends on how my skin is that day. as i said ive got more combo to normal skin so i like a little more dew than this gives and sometimes this is just perfect. 

Maybelline Fitme Foundation - 120 classic ivory ♥

today is a foundation i honestly thought i would hate, from what i had heard before i picked it up was its dewy - too dewy for someone who is a combo/oily, my skin is always changing sometimes its dry, then its oil slick, then is normal and then its just my t-zone but recently my skin has been normal and ive been enjoying the dewy glowy look. 

the bottle is glass as you can see, which i love i love pump foundations because i can always get the perfect amount with just one and half pumps, the glass does make it a little bit more highend looking. i have dropped this a number of times and its not broken or cracked which i always see as a plus!

The colour is classic ivory in the bottle it does look a little dark but when its pumped out you can see its lighter, this is a dewy foundation but i still use a highlighter since recently ive been all over the glowy look, this is a low/medium coverage foundation for me this is fabulous coverage i dont need a high coverage but i do use them when i feel a bit naked, for day to day im sorted with low/medium coverage. This can last for 6hours with a powder and 8 with a primer and powder which is pretty good going for this kind of foundation!

W7 High Definition Foundation - Buff ♥

W7 has been featuring on a lot of blogs recently aswell as mine, this was on a market stall with a few other bits that ive already done a review on, this was the first foundation ive tried from the brand and the packaging really impressed me, a class bottle aswell as a pump all for £2?! pretty good right?

The names a big claim to not be able to hold up to, i keep referring to the price because a high definition foundation is normally above the £10 mark so a very big claim. i can say that it blurs everything, and i mean everything! i can have the worlds biggest spot on my chin and it will blur it out and looks fabulous in pictures, (see below) it looks quite dark but its actually a perfect match for my pale self. it claims to last 16hrs i havnt put that claim to the test but i can wear it to 10hrs without a issue and could possible wear it longer.

covergirl trublend foundation - 410 classic ivory ♥

today is this foundation all the way from overseas, i believe this is the old packaging but i could be wrong, i got this of ebay while i was looking for my outlast stayfabulous, the bottles the same and so is the pump, it can be locked so it cant be pressed down! how fab is that? 

it is glass but i like that so dont mind all that much really since when i travel i pack it so its not going to fall and get damaged. 

the shade i got is classic ivory, the same shade that i had in outlast and its a great match for me, as you can see it is pale but im as pale as a ghost so its a good match, the finish is dewy and i love that ive gotten into the glowy look recently, it lasts about 9hours without touch ups which is pretty good going for a budget dewy finish foundation. 

i like this foundation and i reach for it when i want a dewy finish but not a strong dewy finish if that makes sense?

L'oreal Infalible Stay Fresh Foundation - Vanilla ♥

maybelline betterskin superstay foundation - ivory ♥

Hello my dears, 

so first of the bottle - its glass which i happen to like, it also has a pump which when i do my makeup collection you will see that im a massive fan of glass bottles and pumps! the colour of the writing and the pump is my favourite bit, its so bold and in your face that you cant help but want to pick it up really or is that just me? patterns and colours suck me in like no other!

The colour of the shade i picked is spot on, but ive become pretty good on just randomly picking my shade. the formula is lovely and is a medium/high coverage, The only issue i have is if i use it to often it drys out my skin but if i use it for a few days and then stop for a few days its fine. It hasnt broke me out and it doesnt have a strong scent. 

bottom line is i like it and if it didnt dry my skin out i would use it all the time without a problem.

where i work theres a poundland basically next door, at the moment im into growing my nails so i picked up 2 sets of the astor twin packs and a sally hansen nail polish. i also picked up a rimmel stay blushed from poundland in sunkissed cherry, i picked up another one of my cleansers from neutrogena they have this is the 99p store right now and they do normally have them at least once a month, i normal get this from wilkos but its the same thing but cheaper!! and ofcourse i brought a roll on. 

i recently brought 2 lipsticks of ebay from calvin klien in rose rush and flutter (in that order in picture) i then brought a mua matte lipstick in scarlet siren, im slowly but surely picking up all the shades mua have made in lipsticks! *addict*

clearly went a bit foundation crazy - i got the loreal infallible of ebay after deciding to get the same shade i am in true match which is vanilla, the colour is the same and is amazing if used with your hands but i find if i use a brush its a little orange for my liking i dont know if its just me though. the maybelline foundations are 3 for 2 in boots so i decided to pick up the 3 i wanted to try. fit me, better skin and superstay all in ivory. - ofcourse i brought 2 more natural collection lipsticks in pink mallow, berry blush. there was a 2 for £3.50 on but theres a few more shades i want and ofcourse being the addict i am i need them!
